I never expected a single doser to make such a big difference in my workflow. This manages to pump out typically 1g of ground beans stuck in the grinder. Maintenance is a whole lot easier too.

This thing actually worked very well with pushing out fines. Too well in fact. Gotta put the grind cup closer to the chute to avoid fines getting all over. It's that much! Overall, great build and made a big difference in the cup.

Loved the finishing, but most of all, I can now do single doses with the X54. Noticed you would need to toggle the grinder on and off 2 or 3 times, which gets even more of those grinds retention out. Perfect!

The print quality is much worse than expected (the cup itself is nice, however seems to be outsourced). Design is different than on photos. To make the installation even more difficult (no instructions are provided), the mechanism arrived assembled incorrectly. Due to poor print quality, sometimes the trigger gets stuck and you can't turn off the grinder.

Found this a lot easier to fill up than the test tube type bean cellars. Cost wise alot more value for money and takes up much less space as well.

If I had just one gripe about this grinder it was the retention. This solved it for me. Just made it perfect!

Came upon this by accident and was the best purchase of my kit. Distribution is so simple and even now.

Had this from them for a week now and loving every moment. Feels solid and well built. Has a nice clink to it when you release the plug for the grinds to flow out.

Helped in my workflow immensely. Well built with a nice feel. Grounds distributed very evenly with very little mess.

I am getting much less retention out of my EK 43. I definitely like the gated option. You lift the hopper slightly and the beans fall through. I brew espresso and pour over and the hopper fills up around 50g of beans. The company was responsive on shipping questions. Like the product so much I’m gonna order another for a friend. A little messy see the puffed grounds on the base of my grinder but definitely can highly recommend.
